If you are looking for this bass, then you have finally found it! For the player and/or collector.  This is a wonderful playing, sounding, and looking rare original from the factory circa 1969 fretless Dan Armstrong Lucite bass.  The re-issues don't even come close to the vibe of this wonderful bass.  It is a short scale and has the original Grover tuners. I have done my best to capture all imperfections in the pictures. All imperfections are purely cosmetic. The neck is super straight and the bass is strung with pyramid flatwounds. I have owned this bass for 10 years and I am the second owner. I only used it a few times for studio recording. It has a fantastic MUUAAHH fretless vintage tone.  This bass is unmolested, the only thing I'm not sure about is the nut. It may be a replacement, but functions perfectly and looks original to me.  Very few factory fretless lucite basses were made and even fewer come up for sale. I feel it is time for this beauty to go to a new loving home to be played more than I play it, or to an astute collector who would cherish this fine bass as I have. It comes with the original hardshell case from 1969 in great shape for it's age(all latches work.)
