As a recording engineer and producer I purchase guitars for projects, then often resell immediately the guitar in brand new condition. This ES 339 was played on two sessions over the course of two days. It is brand new-mint. This guitar is priced to sell now at several hundred bucks less then the street price of $3249.99.

The ES 339 combines the tonal signature of semi hollow construction with
the advantage of higher gain possible with a solid body guitar. Made
of laminate layers of maple and poplar, its semi-hollow body tone is
suited for blues, jazz, or classic rock styles. This ES339 is a
highly responsive instrument allowing your musical expression to
shine through. It produces a wonderful bluesey-singing overdriven
tone, while delivering lots of bite and definition for your crunch
tones.The visually stunning vintage burst figured top, sides and back
are finished in a lusterous nitrocellulose lacquer.

This ES339 has the
slim 30/60 neck profile (the same as the 60's slim taper with an
extra .030 inch front to back thickness for tone enhancement) has '57
classic humbucker pickups, and Memphis tone circuit with 500K audio
taper CTS pots. It's a great Gibson.
