As described on the Candelas guitars website .... "The Standard model Flamenco Alegria 1B Guitar is constructed just like a traditional Gypsy flamenco guitar. The Cypress used to build the sides and back have been aged, like fine wine, for a minimum of 6-10 years. The guitar tops are made of high quality grade Cedar or Spruce, Western Red Cedar, German Spruce, Engleman Spruce, or Canadian Spruce among others.

The sides and back of the Flamenco Alegria 1B Guitar shown are handcrafted with Cypress while the top is made with Cedar.

German Schaller machine heads, Fustero tuners, Rodgers tuners, Gotoh tuners, Grover tuners or premium wooden tuning pegs are also available. Ebony fretboards are included as are nuts and saddles made of bone."

I have owned this fine instrument for 10 years now having bought it personally from the Candelas guitar shop in LA.  The Alegria is named after Tomas' wife so you can imagine this is a fine instrument.  This one is not pristine however.  It is a players guitar.   I have taken good care of it but there are a few beauty blemishes top and back...none too serious at all.  Guitar has been protected with clear finger guards top and bottom of sound hole.   Did I say this is a beautiful and beautiful sounding instrument?

I will ship in the plush Ameritage case that I bought it with (humidifier included).  This is an expensive case on its own!   I HATE to sell this but I need a different instrument right now.

This is really heartbreaking to sell but I just never use it anymore. It has about 45 hours of actual hours of use on it so there is still lots of life left on the tubes. It sounds incredible and is one of 65's most versatile amp.  Twin EL84 power tubes rated at 20 watts clean and well beyond that cranked. There's not much really to say about all of 65 Amps stuff other than if you are into the mid gain cranked AC-30/JTM-45 type deal that cleans up perfectly with your guitar volume knob you will find no equal.

Rare and super clean condition! This 1979 JMP has all original Drake transformers, modified by Lee Jackson at Metaltronix, his signature is dated November 1986, as shown in the first photograph. Up for grabs is my beautiful Normandy Chrome Arch-top guitar. Made right here in Oregon, this instrument has surprisingly wonderful tone and looks. I've seen photos of Jim James of My Morning Jacket playing one of these on the stage at Madison Square Garden a few years ago.
