ALEMBIC SERIES II MAPLE BURL TRIPLE OMEGA BASS AWESOME!

Alembic OK Here's the deal! This is a BRAND NEW DEAD MINT Alembic Series II bass guitar. This is Alembic's TOP MODEL bass. It is a medium scale bass, which is the perfect scale for most players. This instrument is WELL BALANCED, has nice fret spacing and SUSTAIN FOR DAYS. This bass had a lot of thought put into the design and creation. The front and back face plates have been UPGRADED to a gorgeous Maple Burl wood that looks like pure marble. The body design is a MODIFIED Triple Omega cut with pistol grip upper horn, sharp lower horn and an Omega Heart cut bottom. This HIPPY SANDWICH has purple heart laminates in the body to ACCENT the Maple Burl top, back and Mahogany core. The neck has 7 laminates of alternating maple and purple heart that run through the body for unbelievable sustain. The fret board is made of EBONY with laminated abalone oval inlays. This bass is an eye popper and a jaw dropper! The ABALONE neck inlays were an upgrade and were matched with the inlay inside the dragon with the recessed silver and mother of pearl logo inlay in the headstock. The headstock was also upgraded to a knobby headstock, which goes perfectly with the Triple Omega body. All the hardware is 24 kt gold plated and looks stunning! The back has MATCHING WOODEN COVERS made from the same wood as the Burl Maple back. This gives the bass an almost seamless appearance to the back of this incredible beauty. This bass guitar looks like a MUSEUM PIECE that should be sealed in a tomb of glass and hung on a wall. It really is breath taking!

Now, I said it looks like it should be sealed in glass, but this bass has a sound that will not be surpassed by any other bass in the world. Yes, the late great John Entwistle of the Who, Stanley Clarke, Mark King of Level 42 and Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead to name a few, all play or have played basses with the famous Alembic logo proudly displayed on top of their headstocks. The controls are a master volume, separate volume knobs for each pick up, a super Q tone control for each pick up that is amazing (gives you an amazing amount of tones and a very effective wah wah sound when turned back and forth between bass and treble in a sweeping motion), a band width for each Q tone knob and a pick up selector switch for front, back or both pick ups. Oh yeah, there is a stand by feature, which is NICE! No more accidental sound burst on stage. This bass is absolutely silent when not being plucked, but it will make you sweat when you hear the ultra crisp clean highs and ball shattering lows. I can tell you this, you will be playing with the controls a very long time before you fully discover all the tones that can be dialed in on this show stopping bass guitar. The bass has a very fast neck with action so sweet, well, it's like "BUTTA".

The bass comes with Alembic GOLD STRAP LOCKS to keep it safely in your hands and off the ground. To top it off, I had amber LED's put in and they are surrounded by STERLING SILVER FRET MARKERS. The silver markers are a nice addition as, it is difficult to see the fret markers when the LED's are not on. They look way cool too! The LED color choice goes perfectly with the over all golden tone of the look of this bass guitar. You can now play on the dimmest of stages without any worries.

The bass comes with it's own rack mountable power source and cable with STEREO and MONO INPUTS. The bass can be used without the power supply with two 9 volt batteries to supply the power.

I have seen a lot of these incredible HAND CRAFTED beauties, but this one is an absolute dream! I am the original owner. The bass comes with all documents and original case all in MINT condition. This thing is Brand Spanking NEW! If you were to order this bass today from Alembic the RETAIL PRICE would be over $24,000. I am selling it because I have two other Alembics and I just can't afford to keep them all. My loss is your gain and you won't have to wait for 10 months (building time) like I did to get it.
