 Awesome Rare Custom USA Made Hamer Chaparral Super Strat from 1986.  Very Good Condition, Looks, plays and sounds incredible.
The custom contoured body, made of one solid piece of Honduran Mahogany,  is originally white,  it has been refinished, white w/ light gold speck, giving it a very cool look.  You won't be disappointed with the refinish.  Sorry,  afficionados, but it has had at least a few refinishes over it's lifetime before I got it, so I had it redone to original white, adding the gold speck for an added  custom touch.  Very well Done, and it has begun to wear in nicely..  Some very minor nicks and dings, to be expected for a 25+ year old guitar.  I did not want any fillers used to hide the Mojo!!!  The Set Maple Neck is 3ply, and the original urethane finish has been worn down to the bare maple, smooth and slick as a baby's behind. Super fast action.  Typical for many Strat Owners.   Frets are in good condition, don't need to be repaired or replaced for the foreseeable future. No Issues with the Rare Ebony Fretboard w/ MOP Boomerang Inlays. The Famous Offset Headstock is in good original condition, no Breaks, or Repairs, No Issues with the functionality, the finish on the Headstock is original and does show some crazing and nicks and dings, from years of playing. Original Mini Schaller Tuners w/ Locking Nut.  Original Floyd Rose Tremolo, black brass, w/ lots of Patina, great working/playable condition.  All Black Hardware, as pics show, including string tree, and the brass patina has worn through in many areas. I just Upgraded the single Humbucker, w/ was not original, to an EMG 89R Active Split Coil Humbucker Pickup System.  New Push/Pull Volume Pot and Tone Pot-25ks, w/ original Knobs reinstalled.  The new pickup gives a wider variety of sound/tone, including that Chimey Strat sound w/ the single coil setting on the push/pull. Pickup, Battery and all new wiring/pots, etc., fit neatly in the original cavity(s).  No additional routing or drilling was done, at all. Velcro Tie keeps Battery snugly mounted in the Cavity. Do the research on the Pickup, you won't be disappointed.  I think it was a perfect choice for the "Super Strat", and it wasn't cheap.  This guitar sounds incredible, and the 1 piece Mahogany body gives it unbelievable sustain, never mind how fast the neck is.  It's a shredder's dream, as well as a great Axe for the Guitar Afficionado that loves to Rock.  Recently Setup, using 11s. Tremolo  is level, Fine Tuners are all in good working condition, action is excellent, no fret buzz, the neck/truss rod is properly adjusted, and the guitar practically plays itself.  Trem Bar is included. And I will include the Stereo Guitar Cable. 
It's a quality made guitar that will retain value, and very, very rare, with the single Humbucker Configuration.  I was told that it originally had a Bartolini Humbucker. 
And it comes with a Road Case.  Interior is intact, Hinge and Latches all work properly, and it has a storage compartment.  
My reserve is less than half what a couple other Chaparrals were reserved for on Ebay recently, so someone should get a great deal, and won't lose on this.
