1975 Hylite Hiwatt DR-103

Another cool one from my collection. 1975 Hylite Hiwatt DR-103 100 watt 4 input, Mil spec wiring serial # 8308. This amp was purchased from a Hiwatt expert and professional musician years ago. This is great on these amps because no matter how hard you push these you can't get them to be mushy or flubby. The fangs just get longer. If you bridge the inputs you get just the Brilliant unput which is great for jangly rhythms and bright quacky strat fills. It sounds so strong and amazing. You can get that Townsend/Who sound in spades, does the ice box cold clean tones wonderfully. Sounds equally as awesome through a Marshall cab as it does a Fane loaded Hiwatt cab. I have been running it in a stereo kind of rig with a Dumble on one side and this bad boy on the other side, and it complimented the Dumble perfectly. The amp comes with its bulgin cable and has no issues. The amp is in very good cosmetic condition as well. "Who"ever gets this will be very happy. Clean vintage Hiwatts are so hard to obtain.

All sales final, no returns on vintage gear, she is sold “as-is”, and she is a fantastic. This auction is for the Hiwatt head only. I insist on packing this amp personally, and it will be $225 shipping and insurance in the U.S. lower 48 states.
